Three OCs win Olympic tickets in club draw

The Club has been allowed to purchase a small number of Olympic tickets and after much deliberation the committee took the decision to offer these to those participating in the 100 Club as a thank you for many years of support of this important fund-raising scheme.

In a draw at a secret location in Surrey and in front of an independent scrutineer, the following were selected to be allocated two tickets each for one of the Olympic matches:

Ted Greeno
Steve Williamson
Nick Lewis

At the moment we do not know which matches we have been allocated but more information is due in the next few days.

Summer League fixtures now online

The fixtures for the three summer leagues running at the Old Cranleighan Hockey Club are posted below.

Matches start at 7.20 and 8.20. Matches are 25 mins each way with a five-minute break for half time.

Please be prompt with your starts. Each team must supply an umpire each but this can be a player form the team if needs be. If you are struggling for an umpire please contact the teams playing before/after you to see if anyone can help out and maybe you can return the favour.

 Please can either team email results to jackie.waite11@googlemail.com  by the friday at the latest of the week the match was played. I am not going to chase results this year so any results not in by then will be recorded as a 0-0 draw.  The first named team in the fixture is the home team so in the event of a colour clash the second team must change colours.
