Summer Leagues

A message from the Club Captain: Once again we will be running the summer leagues. The starting date will be slightly later than usual starting the first week in June once the new astro has been laid. As in previous years, the leagues will run midweek in the evenings and we will be running two leagues for the men. We plan to run a ladies equivalent too this year. Invites to the other clubs will be going out this week and we'll give you an update at the AGM. One final matter is that I'm looking for volunteers to skipper the two men's sides as well as the ladies side that we will be entering - please let me know if you fancy the challenge.

AGM set for March 28

A final reminder that the Annual General Meeting of the club take place on Wednesday, March 28 at the OC Club starting at 8pm. Lots to discuss, as Christian Davies writes:

“If you have anything that you want to discuss please let me know (christian.davies@citigroup.com) and we'll add it to the agenda which will be circulate by e-mail by the end of the week.

"Additionally, the end of season dinner is a week on Saturday(31st). Numbers are looking good (around 70 or so I'm told). So if you haven't already purchased your tickets please do so this weekend from Ed Breton (ed@bretonfitness.co.uk)."

End of Season Dinner

A reminder that the End of Season Dinner is scheduled to take place at Thames Ditton on Saturday, March 31. Tickets, priced at £35, are available from your team captain and the Bretons behind the bar. We somehow managed not to have a dinner in 2005-06 so come along this time and say goodbye to the old astro … first applicants get a section of pitch to take home with them (well, people paid a fortune for squares of Wembley turf …)
