Summer BBQ and hockey on June 4

Nick Lewis is organising the end-of-season/summer BBQ at the OC Club and, as he writes, “we have decided to go for a hog roast/ BBQ combined with a bit of hockey and entertainment on Saturday June 4”.

There will be three hockey matches as follows:

1. 3pm - 4th XI v Vets
2. 4pm - 3rd XI v 2nd XI
3. 5pm - A mixed match with the 1st XI and Ladies

A bouncy castle will be available throughout the afternoon for the young kids, to try and encourage a family day out. In addition there will be a brief club AGM at 6pm - but the less said about that the better. At 6.30pm food will be served and it is hoped we will either have a steel band or jazz band to drum up the atmosphere and to carry us into the evenings antics. Tickets will be £10 per person which will include food, some beer or wine and entertainment.
