Pre-season fitness plans - no excuses

The main Olympics are over, you've all been inspired, the hockey season approaches - it's time to get fit. Instead of using the first few games of the season, this year the Club will run an organised pre-season fitness program for men and women of all fitness levels to help prepare you for the season. The evening sessions will be run by a qualified Personal Trainer and it's completely free.

Here's what else you need to know:
  • Every Monday in September starting on the 3rd Sept at 19:45 at OCHC Thames Ditton
  • A warm-up is included but if you arrive late please make sure you're ready to go
  • Bring water (club house should be open though)
  • if you have a football or rugby ball or frisbee bring it along
  • You won't need a stick

New arrivals are more than welcome, just turn up and say hello. And don't worry if you think you're too unfit or already in top shape...the exercises will accomodate all levels!

Note that stick and ball sessions for the men will start at 19:30 on Wednesday 5th September and every Wednesday thereafter. The ladies have put the men to shame by starting back two weeks before. Chris Brewer
